About Us

Unity Christian Life Center  #22  is a non-denominational church that was organized by Pastor Richard A. Sheats and Minister Claudia L. Sheats on  April 11, 2010. A progressive and growing church, Unity CLC operates under the theme "Empowering a CommUNITY to Impact the World. The church is dedicated to fulfilling a mission to declare the good news of love and forgiveness proclaimed by Christ, and to meet the physical as well as the Spiritual needs of God's people.  Unity CLC is a "Word" church, where the Word of God is preached, taught, and lived by those who love the Lord. The official emblem of the church depicts the Cross to represent Christ and is at the Center of our lives, The Bible represents His word in which we must continuously study to get to know Christ more intimately. The Dove represents the Love and Peace that is abundant in our Life with Christ. The Shield represents the protection we have in Jesus Christ as we continue to seek His face. Pastor Sheats brings to Unity CLC his compassion and desire to change the world one Soul at a time. He is a proud father of Five daughters and lovingly known as Big Daddy to his Five wonderful grandchildren. The anointing of God has been on Pastor Sheats since he was a small boy in Monroe, Georgia. The seed was planted at an early age and the Grace and Mercy of God called him to Preach and Teach the inspired Word of God. Pastor (Chief) Sheats served in the US Navy for over 20 years. On February 1, 2013, God allowed Pastor Sheats to retire again and become a Fulltime Pastor of Unity Christian Life Center.
